rhi is recruiting for 2 Accountants based in our client's office Kuala Lumpa. Both roles will involve general accounting and reporting analysis. The contract dates for both are as follows - Jul 23-Dec 23 (support current project)

  • Korea support Main responsibilities
  • Mainly indirect tax support intercompany Korea (language added advantage)
  • GL activity transactional book years' experience possible contract extension Mid-Sep 23 to midMar 24 (Maternity coverage)
Main responsibilities - JDE system - Coordinate with AR/AP team for monthly/year end - Support statutory reporting - Experience - Senior reporting analyst role - Dealing with auditor - managing audit - Min 5 years' experience Responsibilities:

Coordinate the prompt and accurate recording of accounting end to end transactions (e.g.journal postings, intercompany accounting and Fixed assets, AP invoice processing etc.) in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures.

Local statutory reporting and group reporting requirement, oversight of tax filings and audit support. Regularly track overdue and resolve outstanding operation issues or further escalate when required. To support on month end closing including posting of other manual journals, bank transactions and preparation of monthly report. Proactively identify, propose, and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes and lead/support projects. Continuously strive to build a culture of play to win and high-performance. About you Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA). Shared service centre experience. JDE system experience
