Job description

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

  • To ensure steam boiler running efficiently and continuous steam supply to production.
  • To perform rectification and troubleshooting on steam boiler.
  • To perform preventive maintenance and minor repair on steam boiler.
  • To perform water chemical treatment program on steam boiler.
  • To perform daily operation checklist.
  • To liaise with water chemical treatment visiting engineer.
  • To taking care of production hot water tank system.
  • To taking care of hand tools.
  • To taking care of spare parts.
  • To maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.
  • To perform any other duty that may assigned by the superior and management.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

Maintenance Manager, Executive, Supervisor, Fitter

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. Qualification & Experience

  • A Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical / Engineering or equivalent from accredited university or college.
  • Competency certificate in Boilerman Gred 1 or Gred 2 by DOSH.
  • Experience in operate, maintenance and repair of fire tube steam boiler.
  • Experience more than 3 years working as boilerman.

B. Other Personal Capabilities

  • Able to do water chemical treatment and testing.
  • Able to solve and make decision.
  • Vast knowledge in boiler operation and maintenance.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Salary:
RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
