JOBSCOPE:

  • Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations.
  • Cut, roll shape,bend,mould,spin,heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub assemblies.
  • Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled machines.
  • Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
  • Heats, forms and dresses metal parts, suing hand tools, torch or arc welding equipment.
  • Removes rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file or scrapper.
  • Observes tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, xray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Inspect grooves, angles or gap allowances using micrometer, caliper and precision measuring instrument.
  • Ignites torch and adjust valves,amperage or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
  • Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
  • Any task assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3G certificate on welding
  • Min 1 years welding experience in related field
  • Required skills : MIG and SMAW welding skills, TIG is added advantage
  • Must have or acquire basic knowledge of steel and steel descriptions
  • Must be punctual and attend work regularly

Working days :
Monday to Saturday

Working Hours : 8.00am to 5.00pm

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
RM2, RM2,300.00 per month
