The role

Role responsibilities:

  • Playing a key role in transforming the current AP function, embedding new processes and controls.
  • Ensuring all AP related finance deliverables are completed as part of the monthend process.
  • Ensuring invoices are collected, archived and loaded in the payment system and approvals are tracked.
  • Ensuring PO are raised, billed and paid for all invoices collected.
  • Liaising with vendors, bankers, internal stakeholders and resolving paymentrelated queries.
  • Assisting with the month end closing.
  • Assisting with the administration of Concur Expenses and NetSuite financial systems.
  • Processing payments via online banking system.
  • Ensuring all payments are generated accurately via NetSuite for approval and processing.
  • Preparing routine and ad hoc reports and analysis for financial reporting or business review purposes.

Key skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PDF Tools.
  • Concur and NetSuite experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across the business at all levels of seniority.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports.
  • A meticulous approach to work minimizes errors and maintains data integrity.
  • The ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and paymentrelated issues efficiently.
  • Proactive problemsolving skills and understanding the importance of confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage a high volume of invoices and payments.
  • Effective time management skills to meet payment deadlines and ensure smooth cash flow management.
  • Openness to work flexibly and change focus as work priorities change.
