Here are the responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents, such as bills, invoices, payorders, payables, receivables, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct data entry tasks, including recording sales, purchases, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statements, and the creation of debtors/creditors statements.
  • Support the management of petty cash, including the preparation of bills and receipts.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to coordinate payment and billing activities for external parties.
  • Generate daily reports for review by management.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including document filing, copying, and organization.
  • Work closely with Finance Managers and other team members to effectively perform various accounting duties.
  • Assist in overseeing the maintenance of company ledgers and the recording of daily financial transactions.

Important:

  • At least
    13 years s of experience in the Account/ Finance/ industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting may be considered.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
