REQUIREMENTS FOR HOTEL CHEF DE PARTIE (CDP) FOR 5 STAR HOTELS IN KUALA LUMPUR
*Malaysian females or males are encouraged to apply
*Minimum SPM
*Aged below 35 years old
*Fresh graduates from related field of study are encouraged to apply
*Energetic and have excellent customer service skills and able to work in a fast paced environment
*Professional, attentive and detail oriented, ensuring customers have a great experience
*Have good interpersonal skills, adaptability and conflict-resolution skills for which they are able to resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers leave happy
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) To oversee a designated kitchen section, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
2) To prepare and cook a variety of dishes within your designated section, demonstrating mastery of culinary techniques and attention to detail.
3) To maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and portion sizes of all dishes within your section.
4) To lead the section team in following recipes and cooking techniques accurately, making necessary adjustments based on factors such as guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
5) To supervise and train junior chefs, commis chefs, and kitchen assistants assigned to your section.
6) To assist in monitoring and managing inventory of ingredients and supplies within your section.
7) Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
