Job Details:

  • Follow To prepare monthly financial and management report and provide variance analysis
  • To lead the monthend closing process and ensure reporting timelines are met
  • Manage process and perform inventory reporting and stock reconciliation
  • Responsible for the GL transaction in autocount which includes monthly routine journal entries for accrual, prepayment, fixed assets & balance sheet schedules
  • Familiar in manufacturing accounting process
  • Leading in costing activity and BOM setup
  • Liaise with bankers on matters of trade financing facilities, receipt and payments
  • Liaise with sales team on credit terms/Limits for account and to manage credit block/release
  • Monitor and analyze overhead expenditures and any key fluctuations
  • Lead the process improvement initiative encompass area such as internal control and improvement of efficiency for existing process/workflows
  • Work closely with other departments/business partners in resolving accounting issues from time to time
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors
  • Assist in statutory audit such as drafting of financial statements, provisional tax computation and deferred tax computation
  • Liaise with external tax agent on tax queries and finalization of annual tax computation for submission
  • Liaison person with company secretary on the preparation of board resolutions

Requirements:

  • Possess sound finance & accounting knowledge and working level proficiency of tax knowledge
  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision/guidance
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effective across departments
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Demonstrate work commitment and have sense of urgency

Salary:
RM5, RM7,500.00 per month
