We are looking for an experienced Network Deployment Project Manager to join our team in Malaysia. This is a great opportunity for those with a strong background in managing network deployment projects and a good grasp of network technologies.

As a Network Deployment Project Manager, you will have a key role in ensuring successful project outcomes, efficient network deployment, and contributing to the growth of our organization.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead network deployment projects from start to finish, including device refresh, migration, and network setup, focusing on LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Use Waterfall and Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project activities, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements in line with business goals.
  • Utilize project management tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and other platforms to track project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Show strong multitasking skills and adaptability within a matrix organizational structure, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Provide project updates and status reports to leadership and stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication and decision-making.
  • Establish effective communication channels between teams to create a collaborative environment and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Support network deployment projects in China by utilizing Mandarin proficiency for communication and coordination.
  • Maintain a focus on quality assurance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing network deployment projects, including LAN, WAN, and WIFI technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and tools like Jira, ServiceNow.
  • Technical background in network architecture, protocols, and configurations.
  • Strong Mandarin proficiency beneficial for projects in China.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and proactive risk mitigation approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while focusing on project excellence.
  • Open to expatriates in Malaysia with immediate availability.
