You should be able to understand the customer's perspective, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a professional and friendly demeanor throughout the interaction.


Product knowledge:
To effectively assist customers, you'll need a thorough understanding of the products or services offered by your company. This knowledge enables you to provide accurate information and guide customers appropriately.

Documentation and follow-up: It's important to document customer interactions, including their issues, resolutions, and any follow-up required. This helps in maintaining accurate records and ensures smooth communication within the customer support team.

Collaboration:

Customer support roles often involve collaboration with other teams within the organization, such as technical support, sales, or billing.

You may need to escalate complex issues to higher-level support or coordinate with different departments to resolve customer concerns.

Problem-solving skills: Effective problem-solving skills are valuable in a customer support role. You should be able to analyze customer issues, identify root causes, and propose appropriate solutions or workarounds.


Mandarin customer support roles are in demand, particularly in organizations that serve Mandarin-speaking customer bases or have operations in Mandarin-speaking regions.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English is often a requirement, as you may need to communicate with customers who are bilingual or with colleagues in English-speaking teams.
