Job Summary:


The Food & Beverage Service Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and other food and beverage service areas, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained.

This role involves supervising staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the food and beverage service team.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage timeoff requests.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and briefings.
  • Ensure all staff comply with company policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and address any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and assess customer satisfaction and feedback.
  • Assist in serving food and beverages during peak times or special events.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage service areas.
  • Ensure the restaurant, bar, and other service areas are clean and wellmaintained.
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, labor costs, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
  • Maintain consistency in service standards.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and executing events and functions.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in pointofsale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
