Job description

Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive music lessons that cater to students' varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Supervising classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
  • Delivering personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
  • Planning and implementing educational activities and events.
  • Ensuring classroom is clean and orderly.
  • Preparing and distributing periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
  • Attending parentteacher meetings.
  • Evaluating and documenting students' progress.
  • Allocating and grading homework, assignments, and tests.

Teacher Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.
  • Experience in KSSR syllabus is added advantage
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher is added advantage
  • Indepth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, colleagues, and school administrators.
  • Wellorganized with excellent leadership abilities.
