We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused Cafe Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our bustling cafe.

As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth and efficient operations during all shifts.
  • Train and onboard new employees, providing guidance on cafe policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and food handling procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues to their satisfaction.

Assist in the development and implementation of promotional activities, special events, and menu offerings to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.


  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to cafe staff, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the business.
  • Knowledge of cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, pointofsale systems, and cash handling procedures.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards applicable to the food service industry.
