JR41474 Intern - Operation Excellence

Project Title:

Manual Touch Point Reduction (MTPR) Solution

Description:


MTPR is a network program aimed to reduce all high-risk touchpoints that have potential risk to operational error which may incur and can affect the quality of the product.


Scope:

To identify top improvement activities to eliminate high-risk touch points which may induce operational error and drive improvement for product quality and Best In Class (BIC) labor productivity.


Supporting Team:

  • Engineering Team
  • IT / SMAI Team
  • Manufacturing Team

Deliverables:

  • Identify the highrisk touch points in the production line.
  • Generate ideas and explore the solution on how to eliminate / mitigate the highrisk touch points.
  • Work out with supporting team on the implementation of the proposed solution.

Stretch Goal:

  • Contribute 2% reduction of highrisk touch points in Manual Touch Point Reduction (MTPR) program.

Requirement

  • Degree in Engineering
  • 6 months internship
