The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.


  • Lead a team of key account executives and ensuring sales targets are achieved
  • Lead negotiations with key partners
  • Resourceful in identifying new merchants (restaurants, cafes, etc.) to acquire, expanding the range of offerings for our customers
  • Continuously building and updating target lists for sales, identifying the priority restaurants/companies in line with the strategy of the company
  • Continuously maintain a strong relationship with brands/merchants
  • Gathering intelligence on competitors and producing analysis out of that research
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive usage and awareness for key brands

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 34 years of working experience
  • Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience with management consulting, business development, Ecommerce or Ewallet is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset, capable of deriving insights from data and implementing datadriven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet targets, and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Teamoriented and a natural leader, with a passion for inspiring and guiding others to achieve their best
