Overview:

Responsibilities:

Receiving Goods:
Assist with unloading trucks and checking incoming shipments against purchase orders. Inspect goods for damage and accuracy.

Inventory Management:
Store products in the correct locations within the warehouse. Ensure that inventory is accurately recorded and properly labeled.

Order Picking and Packing:
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipping. Ensure that all items are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Stock Replenishment:
Replenish stock in picking areas as needed. Ensure that stock levels are maintained and report any shortages to the warehouse manager.

Warehouse Organization:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Arrange products in a logical and accessible manner.

Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects and report any quality issues to the warehouse manager. Ensure that only high-quality products are shipped to customers.

Shipping and Receiving Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities. Ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly and filed appropriately.

Health and Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and ensure that safety procedures are followed.

Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve operational goals. Assist with training new employees as needed.

Customer Service:
Assist with customer inquiries and provide information about warehouse operations and inventory. Ensure a positive experience for all customers and visitors.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfilment.

Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking.

Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.

Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.

Certification to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.

Works in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery.

Requires standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and other physical activities. May involve working overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
