Your new company They are one of the top reputable MNC pharma manufacturing company in Malaysia. Now, they are looking for an exceptional individual to lead their Finance team as the CFO. Your new role As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our multinational pharmaceutical company, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the company's financial operations to drive sustainable growth and maximize shareholder value. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced finance executive to shape the financial future of a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Financial Strategy : Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, including revenue growth, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) : Lead the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Financial Reporting : Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Investor Relations : Serve as a key liaison with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders, providing transparency and insight into the company's financial performance and outlook.
  • Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks through robust internal controls, compliance procedures, and risk management strategies.
  • Capital Markets : Manage the company's capital structure and financing activities, including debt issuance, equity offerings, and strategic partnerships, to optimize the cost of capital and support growth initiatives.
  • Corporate Governance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and internal policies, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Leadership and Team Development : Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to nurture talent and drive organizational success.
  • Strategic Partnerships : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations, to support strategic initiatives and drive financial performance across the organization.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA and must have chartered qualification preferred such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW etc.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in the pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, financial modelling, and risk management practices.
