Overall job objectives
You report to Singapore's IT department to assist in managing all IT infrastructure at Malaysia's office.

Core responsibilities

  • First level IT Support
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • IT asset management
  • Manage the inventory of IT assets including issuance, return, and tracking of hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT assets and ensure timely updates.
  • Coordinate with users for the issuance and return of IT equipment.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance
  • Monitor the performance and health of hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of network equipment, servers, and workstations.
  • Ensure the network infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
  • IT Security Implementation and Training
  • Implement IT security protocols and best practices to safeguard company data and systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on IT security measures and awareness.
  • Regularly update and maintain security software and hardware.
  • Vendor Management
  • Negotiate with suppliers and / or vendor to get the best deal, including external support
  • Carry out ad-hoc task as assigned by superior

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in help desk and IT support roles.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks

Pay:
RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
