  • Lead the creative interiors efforts on client projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies. This individual is key to managing existing client relationships and developing new ones
  • Lead interior design efforts that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
  • Notify the finance department on the issuance of progress billings and assist the finance department on the collection of billings of the project
  • Develop strategies and design solutions that differentiate the organisation's capabilities in the market
  • Drive research efforts to identify emerging trends or issues in the design industry
  • Align design solutions and offerings with evolving customer needs, technological advancements, and the organisation's brand identity
  • Conceptualise new design solutions and offerings for the organisation
  • Set the overall direction for design aesthetics and user experience
  • Provide creative direction on the development of prototypes and review prototypes against established design vision
  • Conceive innovative design aesthetic ideas in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate overall aesthetics, effectiveness and viability of design output
  • Advice all final design details, samples and prototypes
  • Advise on the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF &E), colours palettes and lighting
  • Provide justification for the features and benefits of the recommended design solutions
  • Communicate the impact on design production quality when implanting the recommended design solutions
  • Oversee the development of design portfolios, and whenever possible, pilot new lines of revenue for the organisation
  • Innovate new products or evolve existing products in collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on issues related to design, development, and deployment, for design portfolios
  • Design monetisation strategies to scale products into revenue

  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution selections needed for construction
  • Act as the primary interior design interface with clients
