We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to join our team.
As a Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services to fulfil the organization's operational needs.
Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with the procurement team to execute purchasing strategies and meet procurement objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure ontime deliveries and resolve order discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and industry trends.
- Assist in managing purchasing budgets and identifying costsaving opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Executive or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with excellent attention to accuracy in purchasing processes.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and ethical practices.
- Proactive problemsolving and multitasking abilities.
