Job Summary:


As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while crafting and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages.

Your role involves ensuring the cleanliness of the coffee preparation area, maintaining inventory levels, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take customer orders, provide product recommendations, and answer inquiries about menu items.
Ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.

Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes.
Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and drip brewers.
Ensure beverages are served at the appropriate temperature and meet quality standards.

Menu Knowledge:
Stay informed about the menu, including seasonal offerings and specials.
Provide information about beverage ingredients and brewing methods to customers.

Cash Handling:
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Process payments using the cash register and provide change as needed.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the coffee preparation area.
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly.
Monitor and replenish stock of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.

Customer Engagement:
Engage with customers in a positive and friendly manner.
Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers to enjoy their beverages.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to fulfill customer orders efficiently.

Adherence to Policies:
Follow established company policies and procedures.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating highquality beverages.

Salary:
RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
