Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Functional
_(job responsibilities)_

Wealth Management-i

  • Initiate, devise and undertake project development, implementation and deployment of key strategic initiatives for comprehensive product solutions in accordance to 4 pillars of HLISB IWM.
  • Identify and pursue business growth opportunities to expand the Islamic wealth management division's client base and assets under management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote Islamic wealth management services and increase brand visibility.
  • Devise IWM development and expansion of IWM's AUM, customer base and bridging connectivity between products and channel management distribution.
  • To champion the customer segmentationbased offerings in recommending and developing Islamic Wealth Management products & services primarily for the Malay Muslims/Bumiputera customer segment.
  • Support for Value-Based Intermediation (VBI) initiatives through improved banking practices and product offerings for IWM customer journey, including ability develop and launch innovative, digital and sustainable business models, products, services as well as advisories
  • Engagement with the relevant authorities, establishing the payment gateway as well as project executions on Zakat, Waqaf, Sadaqah and Tabung Haji. Lead the enhancement of digital customer journey, primarily for the Islamic Wealth Purification pillar,
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Islamic finance and wealth management.
  • Prepare reports on the division's financial performance, market trends, and business development initiatives for senior management and stakeholders
Islamic Digital Lifestyle

  • Lead and coordinate all PFSi digital marketing (below and above the line) initiatives with the aim of building the Bank's image as a leading provider of Islamic Digital Lifestyle.
  • Drive, monitor and develop customer engagement via various Bank's digital platforms.
  • Act in a proactive manner as the link between marketing, business users and digital support teams in relation to marketing initiations.
Management of Investment Products/ Bancatakaful Products/ Structured Product-I (collectively referred as "IWM products")

  • Act as a key liaison person for IWM products related with constant engagement with relevant stakeholders.
  • Expand and deepen products offering on IWM platform
  • To work closely with product providers and stakeholders in particular with Regional Wealth Management (RWM), Personal Financial Services (PFS) and Global Markets (GMi) divisions, that include drive new initiatives for new and existing products on shelf for delivery
  • To work closely with the product providers and internal stakeholders to conceptualize ideas and source for new/enhanced product offering.
  • Achieve the business financials by developing and implementing the product strategy of the IWM products.
Managerial

  • Lead and participate in crossfunctional project to deliver sustainable and breakthrough improvement to business processes
  • To participate in project management involving people, organizational change management, systems integration and core process changes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.

Jobholder Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business,or a related field
  • Indepth knowledge of Islamic finance principles, including Shariahcompliant investment, banking, and wealth management practices.
  • Knowledge in wide array of investment products (e.g. equities, bond and currencies market, structured products, etc) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements related to Islamic finance.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to make datadriven decisions to optimize investment strategies.
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in related field
Certification Requirement (added advantageous)

  • FIMM License
  • IPPC Certified
  • Islamic Financial Planner Certified
  • Additional Takaful/Insurance licensed are preferred.
