ROLE MISSION:

As Tax Manager you will be part of the Global/Regional Finance Team. Contributing towards The Group's Regional tax Compliance, Reporting and Advisory process.

You will be integral in helping implement and improve processes and procedures; helping solve problems and challenges in the markets as they arise; performing administrative tasks; and getting involved in ad hoc projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE:

  • APAC Markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Japan & China.

ROLE SCOPE:

  • Management of Corporate Tax compliance process alongside finance team and to act as a key contact in this respect.
  • Responsible for the Region's tax reporting and forecasting. Including working with auditors for yearend reporting.
  • Advising commercial and legal teams on tax costs and efficient structuring for crossborder projects.
  • Advise on Regional indirect tax issues.
  • Implementation of regional tax processes and policy
  • Review and maintain the transfer pricing policy and documentation.
  • Manage external advisors to ensure tax compliance across the Region.
  • To manage and minimise the risk of tax issues.
  • You will be expected to build relationships across all areas of the business.
  • To act in an advisory role for tax legislation.
  • Adhoc project work as required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

  • Qualified Accountant and/or Tax advisor (Recognised regional qualification ACCA/CTA)
  • 6 + year post qualified experience. In house/industry experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Direct and indirect taxes on a regional perspective.
  • International tax experience
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing principles.
- (Some Payroll and Global mobility knowledge would be advantageous but not a prerequisite?).

  • Highly computer literate
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfortable dealing with complex formulae
  • Adaptable to change in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent organisational and problemsolving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels both internally and externally
  • High attention to detail
  • A cando attitude
  • Driven and capable of driving process change and improvement.
