Engine Driver

Supervise operation team, manage operations, maintenance and servicing of the plants and work with the factory supplier natural gas to ensure smooth continuous running of the plant.

• To operate CHP system and supply hot water/steam to factory.
• Manage and direct daytoday assigned operation resources to ensure proper planning and timely execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance works.
• Communication focal point to operational stakeholders including: Distribution Licensee (TNB_), feedstock supplier, contractors, equipment vendors, respective government authorities and supporting team members
• To be aware of and to ensure compliance and renewal of respective government authorities' licenses, permits and procedures at all time (liaison with Safety & Regulatory Dept)
• Review daily cheeksheet and weekly plant performance reports
• Prepare and submit monthly performance report
• Manage vendors and contractors during maintenance, plant improvements, etc
• To always ensure that the company is properly represented always towards the suppliers, vendors, contractors, consultants, clients, owners, business associates and others
• Coordinate work with factory operation department person incharge and Chargeman
• Any other ad hoc assignments
• Reporting to O&M Manager and Asset Manager

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Preferably from Mechanical or Electrical)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in operation and maintenance of a chemical plant
• Willing to travel and possess own transportation
• At least Qualified Internal Combustion Engine Driver Grade
• Able to work during the weekends and public holiday if required
• Able to work responsibly and independently
• Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia
