Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead in Accounting, Tax and Treasury functionality within GreenTech division, managing young and vibrant team of accountants in financial, management and sustainability reporting to the Group and to external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the YGT Accounting team in its corporate, financial and management reporting functionality, and will be the main accounting liaison with all GreenTech business units (DrivEV, RydeV, MarinEV, DigitalEV and ChargEV).
  • Evaluates and implements business initiatives and process engineering around strategic planning, financial, tax and reorganization activities within YGT's businesses. Experience in change management, system implementation and process flow changes would be an advantage.
  • Coordinates the financial, tax and operational audits and due diligence with internal and external advisors (e.g. auditors, tax compliance and legal)
  • Works collaboratively with Business Unit Leads in implementing appropriate internal controls, and in the measurement of performance, profitablity and project costing for each business units.
  • Participate and coordinate workstreams involving reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including Group Finance, Company Secretary and Group Strategy teams, including Corporate Communications, Sustainability, Risk Management, Compliance and Risk management.
  • Preparation of budget and consolidation of results across the various business segments within GreenTech.
  • To execute any other duties as and when required by immediate superior or management.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Accountancy, or any related discipline with strong IFRS knowledge. A recognised accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred.

years' experience in finance reporting/ operations including at least 3 years of audit experience in Big - B2B, B2C and B2G experiences in start-ups, retail, FMCG, trading, tech industry is a plus.
