Quantity Surveyor Plan, check, review and coordinate team's services pertaining to costing, tender and contract documentation and contract administration. Key Accountabilities General Quantity Surveying Services (QSS) Pre-Contract
  • To prepare cost estimates, review, update from time to time to reflect current market rate.
  • Compiling cost data vide requesting quotation from suppliers and sub contractors, to update and storage in proper filing system.
  • To do taking off in systematic method recognized under QSS, preparation of tender documents and cost estimate.
  • To prepare, review and finalize tender evaluation reports, to attend tender clarification interviews, preparation for submission of addenda etc.
for the Client to proceed with the proposed Work.
  • To contribute opinion and/or advice on the contract management in order to assist the Client and the Company to realize any Project proposal.
Post-Contract
  • To complete contract documentations, signing and distribution to all parties under the Contract
  • To prepare interim progress claim, variation order finalization, recommendation report for extension of time, evaluation and finalization on Loss and Expense, termination contract (if any) and all the necessary quantity surveying services during post contract.
  • To monitor contractual management during Defect Liability Period.
  • To prepare, finalize the Final Account and issuance of Final Certificate within the specified period.
  • To participate in contractual management discussion with the project team, the Client and management.
To provide reasonable and fair contract management advice in order to eliminate the risk of extra costs, time or others contractual dispute that may incur by the Company and the Client. Other General Services To provide
  • To equip and familiar with general form of contracts like PWD, PAM, FIDIC etc.

  • Provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Able to work independently with less supervision.
  • Always recognized and pursue to achieve Company's goals in any contracts managed.
  • Always work within the deadlines given and meet the expectation.
  • Always prioritized teamwork and willing to accept whatsoever tasks given.
  • Always pro active in any discussion and contribute ideas for the benefit of the Company.
  • Monitor accuracy and correctness of measurement done by team.
  • Monitor correspondence with relevant parties who are in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Monitor the requirements for Performance Bond, Insurances, Earnest Money and Retention are always in order.
  • Monitor certificates for extension of time, completion and non completion, defects liability period is duly issued.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Project Managers in the administration and execution of the contracts.
Risk Management
  • Keep Superior informed of any key risk, as and when it arises, faced by Department and the Company as a whole.
Professional Conduct and confidentiality
  • Maintained confidentiality matters pertaining to company and assigned projects.
  • Maintain good working ethics and professional conduct at all times
  • Maintained good self composure while carry out the obligations / duties / services with the Clients and the Company.
Records Management
  • Develop, implement and maintain a structured filing system, cross reference system, database management, etc.
to provide quick and accurate retrieval of various records pertinent to the sector.
  • Keep a variety of manual and electronic records and/or files for the purpose of documenting activities, providing reliable information and complying with Company policies.
Compliance to Management System
  • Comply with the company's policies, activities, procedures and instructions as relevant and required by the current management system, including quality and environmental management, safety and health of sector's workplace and projects.
  • Comply to Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) requirements adhere by RBSB.
