Job Summary


As the Sustainability Consultant of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), you are responsible for developing and overseeing environmental, social and corporate governance policies and procedures to the clients by taking into consideration best industry practices and standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Assume the lead position as a Managing Consultant overseeing Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives, driving enhancement programs. Your role entails fostering robust client relationships to influence and spearhead positive changes in ESG culture, encompassing assessment, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and supervise ESG policies and procedures while evaluating proposed transactions for their social and environmental sustainability on behalf of clients.
  • Lead the organization's ESG progression, aiming to craft tailored ESG Roadmaps for clients.
  • Offer specialized guidance to clients on environmental and social impact assessments, as well as sustainability risks, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Establish a formal governance framework for ESG progress monitoring and tracking.
  • Promote environmental consciousness within the team.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned periodically.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in relevant fields. While an Environmental Science degree is preferred, it is not mandatory.
  • Possession of a Professional Certificate in Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR) would be advantageous.
  • 3 to 5 years or more of experience in Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) or Sustainability, involving the execution of corporate initiatives aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, interpersonal relations, presentations, coordination, organization, and negotiation.
  • Proactive, resourceful, with the ability to independently handle multiple tasks and excellent networking skills.
  • Professionallevel proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Capability to see tasks and projects through to completion.
  • Ability to engage with Heads of Departments (HODs) and C-Suite executives.

Salary:
RM8, RM9,000.00 per month
