Are you passionate about flowers and eager to learn the art of floral arrangement? We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Florist Assistant.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our Floral Artisans by preparing flowers, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the freshness of flowers by unloading, unwrapping, and conditioning them.
  • Remove thorns and dead petals, give foliages a fresh cut, and place them in waterfilled buckets.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the premises by sweeping up debris and washing florist tools.
  • Organize floristry materials such as sponges, wires, and wrappers for easy access.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand specific customer orders.
  • Manage floral inventory, ensuring a diverse and wellmaintained selection.
  • Monitor and report on the availability of different flowers and seasonal variations.
  • Conduct quality checks on all floral arrangements to meet our standards.
  • Execute goods received from suppliers and conduct quality checks.
  • Address any issues regarding the quality or appearance of flower stocks.
  • Work closely with florists and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in special projects or events requiring floral expertise.
  • Assist with other assigned tasks as needed by the manager.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience in floristry is required; we'll provide training
  • Possess a passion for flowers and interacting with people.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus, and discipline.

Pay:
RM1, RM2,200.00 per month
