Financial Controller/CFO (Based in Ipoh, Perak)

We are representing our clients for the Financial Controller/CFO position to be based in Ipoh, Perak.

  • Location: Ipoh, Perak

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • To provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • To offer strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
  • To manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports
  • To advise on long-term business and financial planning
  • To provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets
  • To ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
  • To establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
  • Industry: Manufacturing of Industrial Products (Public Listed)
  • Location: Ipoh, Perak

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial planning, record-keeping, as well as financial reporting to management and the board of directors (if required).
  • Established and maintain strong relationship with bankers, auditors, internal auditors, and tax agents to meet all the requirement of the Company.
  • Oversee daily function of Finance, Treasury (Cashflow) management and all finance related deliverables.
  • Manage and provide analysis i.e., cost vs revenue, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, general accounting, payable, credit, collections, and risk management.
  • Work with leadership team to perform strategic planning and build a seamless financial operations infrastructure for a rapidly growing and diversifying organization.
  • To plan the full automation exercise for the department.
  • Oversee the compliance of internal controls and practice.
  • In Charge of meeting all statutory and Bursa compliance.
  • Prepare the Group Consolidation, Quarterly Reporting to Bursa and Audited Financial statement for the Group.
  • Ad-hoc assigned by Managing Director / Directors

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualification in Accounting i.e. ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in accounting and finance
  • Experience working in listed company is an advantage, but others are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical with good business acumen and ability to identify key business drivers
