Business Development Manager in Seafreight, Freight

Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving sales targets and growth.
- Prepare Sales & Marketing yearly budget.
- Responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies.
- Conduct Marketplace intelligence and research
- Plan and execute sales and marketing activities.
- Conduct sales calls and visits
- Conduct internal meetings or vendor meetings to formulate solutions.
- Identify and develop service and solution offerings.
- Develop pricing and business models based on customer needs.
- Identify customers/ prospects' needs, work closely with customers/ prospects to meet those needs.
- Prepare and conduct corporate presentations and sales meeting.
- Deal with and overcome objections raised by customers.
- Communicate customer expectations internally and with vendors.
- Respond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc.
- Provide timely and accurate information on industry or customers' intelligence.
- Collate and submit sales reports and analysis.
- Collate and present performance to customers and/or management.
- Develop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely responses to their queries.
- Perform other task as required by senior management.
Role requirement
-
Minimum 3 years experiences in logistics & warehousing
- Degree in Business Admin/ Marketing or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Malaysian's only
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills in written & oral English
Possess own transport.
Salary:
RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
