Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and maintain instruments, equipment / apparatus, test methods in accordance with standard methods such as ASTM, IP, UOP, etc
  • Maintain requirement for ISO 17025 certification
  • Maintain and follow Laboratory Quality Assurance system
  • Maintain Statistical Quality Control program
  • Prepare quality audit plan for ISO 17025 SAMM and client's audit
  • Calibrate and maintain instruments in accordance with standard methods such as ASTM, IP, UOP, etc
  • Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents
  • Standardize reagent/equipment
  • Conduct Test Method Assessment
  • Initiate, investigate and review quality improvement/corrective and preventive action
  • Maintain SQC program
  • Setup new methods in accordance with standard methods
  • Training new analyst on the new methods/instruments
  • Upkeep the cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
  • Perform any tasks as assigned by Laboratory Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemicals or Science Principle, having work experiences in petroleum/chemical laboratory is preferred.

Salary:
RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
