OPERATIONS MANAGER

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all rope access technicians including level 1, 2 and 3 are competent.
  • Responsible to ensure all IRATA requirements are communicated to all personnel involve in rope access work scopes.
  • Responsible to manage and monitor company's rope access system on a day to day basis to the extent required by IRATA requirement

HSE Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with safety and environment rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
  • Responsible to have awareness of company's policies including health, safety and environmental policy.
  • Report any unsafe condition and unsafe act which might endanger safety, health and environment.
  • Ensure compliance to IRATA requirements to ensure safe systems of work are in place

ISO 17020 Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to practice impartiality and maintain confidentiality

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum SPM
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience as IRATA Level
  • IRATA level 3 certificate

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good Communication, written, supervision, analytical and decision making
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 ISO/IEC 17020, IRATA membership requirements, Internal code of practice for industrial rope access, IRATA Byelaws
  • Knowledge in schedule waste management
  • Any related training in Safety, Health and Environment

Salary:
RM6, RM8,000.00 per month

  • Irata Level 3 certificate (preferred)
