Production Operator:

Responsibilities

  • Run a production machine or assemble product according to customer specifications
  • Maintain proper counts and complete work correctly
  • Assist the production supervisor in achieving scheduling requirements
  • Use and read measuring equipment if required
  • Work closely with QC to assure conformity of product to customer requirements
  • Assist in maintenance of tooling and equipment
  • Report any defects, downtime or incidents to production supervisor
  • Set up machines according to instruction from the production supervisor to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine settings
  • Feed raw material or parts to semiautomated machines
  • Test operation of machines periodically
  • Check output to spot any machinerelated mistakes or flaws
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

Requirements:

  • Pass SPM or equivalent qualification
  • Able to read, understand and speak in English language
  • Analytical skill
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to follow procedures, instructions, guidance from management
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • Able to pick up fast on understanding production procedures
  • Working experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Discipline, hardworking and trustworthy

  • Available to work on shifts, weekends, callouts and overtime
