JOB BRIEF
Procurement Manager responsibilities include finding cost-effective deals and suppliers to cut procurement expenses, allowing the company to invest in growth and people. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the Procurement Department
  • Source and select suppliers; negotiate on credit terms
  • Work with Cost & Contract team for product specifications and cost estimation
  • Plan and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers/ vendors
  • Perform inventory control and tracking; prepare reports
  • Monitor procurement budget and expenditure
  • Implement new projects timely
  • Participate in meetings, troubleshoot issues, and lead action plans
  • Verify invoices from suppliers before payment
  • Evaluate vendors' performance
  • Direct and motivate subordinates
  • Plan facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel utilization
  • Maintain facilities and compliance with safety regulations
  • Build relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Update equipment movement and running hours
  • Create a safety-focused work environment
  • Evaluate employee performance
  • Track daily progress/error reports
  • Order new materials as needed
  • Enforce health and safety regulations
  • Fulfill any other assigned duties
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Procurement and Maintenance Executive
  • Supervisory and management experience
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager
  • Expertise in sourcing, negotiations, and networking
  • Knowledge of supplier management software
  • Decision-making skills and numerical proficiency
  • Data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in maintenance and procurement techniques
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and negotiation skills
