A Business Intelligence Manager is a management professional who oversees a team of programmers, business analysts, and data analysts. Your primary responsibility is to collect and analyze information, enabling business leaders to make better, data-driven decisions.

You will need a deep understanding of business intelligence (BI) and data analysis, coupled with strong management and communication skills.

Main responsibilities

Overseeing Business Intelligence Tools and Platforms:

  • Manage the development and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support decision-making across the organization by providing timely and relevant information.

Leading Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Lead crossfunctional teams in designing and implementing data warehousing, data modeling, and data mining projects.
  • These projects support strategic decisionmaking within the organization.

Establishing BI Governance Policies:

  • Set up and enforce BI governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Collaborating with IT and Business Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to identify BI needs.
  • Translate these needs into technical requirements for BI solutions.

Managing the BI Team:

  • Train and build a highperforming BI team.
  • Ensure the team meets the organization's data analysis needs.

Democratizing Data:

  • Implement selfservice BI tools.
  • Train nontechnical users on data analysis techniques.

Innovation and Exploration:

  • Spearhead innovative projects, such as predictive analytics or machine learning initiatives.
  • Explore new ways of leveraging data for competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

Mandatory requirements- Bachelor or Master degree in related fields. Good business and process understanding.- Good data analytical capability- Excellent written and spoken English skills and ability to understand & convey complex IT and business scenarios.- Proven ability to analyse problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies.- Strong communication, engagement and team leadership skills.- Strong people skills with awareness of different cultures.

Additional Preferences- Experience on Tableau Business intelligent tools.- Experience on Data warehousing system.#WSM
