Business Development Manager

Key Accountabilities
- Meet personal sales targets/KPIs within defined markets, territories, or accounts.
- Identify and pursue new sales leads, pitching company goods and services to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to nurture longterm partnerships.
- Develop strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Manage existing regional TPI's/Distributors, assigning new ones in key target markets as necessary.
Ensure excellent sales delivery and customer service for the business.
- Participate in special projects such as major promotions, new product launches, and developing business cases for growth opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts/tenders within established boundaries.
- Record sales activities using company monitoring processes and provide relevant managerial reports as necessary
- Keep customers updated on product and market developments to ensure customer service excellence.
- Assist with technical responses on products sold and ensure timely delivery.
- Attend relevant industry events to network and stay updated on industry trends.
- Deliver customer presentations and webinars to showcase company offerings.
- Develop an understanding of customers' needs and problems and prepare solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with commercial/production, technology, and financial disciplines as relevant.
- Ensure purchase orders are followed through to cash received and assist with debt recovery if required.
- Take on any other duties within the employee's skills and abilities as reasonably instructed.
Essential requirements
:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, particularly within radiation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Knowledge of radiation survey meters and personal radiation dosimeters
- Requires excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with customers, all other Tracerco stakeholders globally.
- Very good technical knowledge of products to deal effectively with customers.
- Customer Focus: Making customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions: developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
- Building Collaborative Relationships: Identifying opportunities and taking action to build strategic relationships between one's areas, teams, departments, units, or organisations including customers, to help achieve business goals.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
