The Food Industries Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse within a food manufacturing or distribution facility.

This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse personnel to ensure the smooth operation of warehousing.
  • Responsible for warehouse operation and ensuring both inflow and outflow of goods are managed effectively.
  • Verify orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Verify and check goods return from customers.
  • To inspect/verify incoming goods from suppliers and preshipment check for outgoing goods.
  • Organize regular inventory stock counts (monthly) and perform reconciliation to stock records.
  • Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Responsible for the coordination and communication with other departments to ensure smooth operation and and resolve issues.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints received concerning the warehouse.
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds to ensure proper housekeeping and upkeep of store cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all warehousing and handling legislation requirements (ISO, Halal, etc.)
  • Monitor and arrange storehand to keep all raw materials and packing materials in the right location following FIFO System.
  • Arrange for Annual Stock Count.
  • Inventory and finished goods controller. (Return, Transfer from Production to Warehouse, Delivery)
  • Update for daily delivery.
  • Other adhoc tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in related field is an advantages.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
