Job Summary:

As a Livestream Host, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive livestream content for an online audience.

Your role involves presenting, moderating discussions, and entertaining viewers during live broadcasts on various platforms (Shopee/Lazada/TikTok). The goal is to engage, retain, and grow the audience while ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.

Content Hosting

  • Host and lead livestream sessions, guiding discussions, interviews, performances, or presentations.
  • Keep the livestream engaging, dynamic, and interactive to maintain viewer interest.
  • Strive to achieve the target, and improve viewer engagement and experience.
Audience Interaction

  • Respond to viewer comments, questions, and feedback during livestreams.
Presentation Skills

  • Maintain a confident and enthusiastic oncamera presence.
  • Speak clearly, concisely, and coherently, adapting communication style to the audience.
  • Use body language and expressions to convey emotions and engagement.
Technical Proficiency

  • Familiarity with livestreaming platforms, software, and equipment (cameras, microphones, lighting, streaming software).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during livestreams.
Content Preparation

  • Research and prepare topics, talking points, and visual aids for livestreams.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure a smooth broadcast.
Brand Representation

  • Maintain a consistent brand image and tone during livestreams.
  • Uphold the Signature Market's values, messaging, and guidelines.
Other

  • Livestream Hosts often work remotely or in studio/main office.
  • Irregular work hours may be required, including evenings and weekends, depending on the livestream schedule.
  • Any other task allocated from time to time.

; Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in communications, media, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in livestreaming, broadcasting, hosting events, or performing arts is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia. Especially Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and oncamera presence.
  • Proficient in using livestreaming software and equipment.
  • Ability to engage and interact with diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinking and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Strong organizational skills for content planning and scheduling.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (especially TikTok) and online communities.
  • Previous experience in hosting, presenting, or performing is a plus.
  • Malaysian only.
