We are hiring a Supervisor, Receiving Operations - Inventory Management who will coordinates, supervises, and participates in the daily work of the Receiving Supervisor in the inventory management focusing on unloading of materials, goods receiving, put away processes, and organizing the inventory in the store as per the company's ISO requirements, quality, and safety standards.

Responsible for the accuracy of the good receipt and storage space utilizations.

Performed activities:

  • Manages the receiving process and supervises the unloading, goods receipt, put aways processes and ensure accurate and real time transactions.
  • To ensure import material operation with forwarders are in order, for the goods to be delivered as planned and meet company requirement.
  • To ensure ontime unloading and incoming accuracy for local suppliers.
  • Run the Receiving operation through the principle of SQDC and maintaining of the Zone Leader Boards.
  • Prepare statistical and information reports on receiving, put away activities as well as space utilizations.
  • Upkeep of store and chemical storage, and material handling areas.
  • Basic safety and risk awareness and taking actions to reduce or eliminate any such risks or hazards, and safeguard of the materials and equipments of raw material store.
  • Support the reviewing, updating, and proposing material store/racking upgrades and modifications.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Projects as per company Lean Management System.
  • Participate in the cycle counting and physical inventory process, and responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the onhand inventory.
  • Managing recycling and disposal of inventory as directed by the MM Manager and Finance.
  • Supervises Storekeepers, Material Handlers and Storehands and coordinates their daily activities.
  • Provides orientation, training, and assistance to subordinates in their daily tasks.
  • Provides feedback to the Material Manager on resource and training needs.
  • In conjunction with the Material Manager, performs annual performance review of Storekeepers and Storehands.
  • Involvement in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes of new employees and contractors in association with the Human Resources, Indirect Procurement and Material Manager.
  • Builds, motivates, and retains a team that consistently meets company requirements.
Who you are

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce or related.
  • At least 5 years related working experiences.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literacy essential
  • Ensure standard work and operating procedures are enforced on all levels
