Reports To

  • Manager, Group Communications

Role Purpose

  • To support the Manager, Group Communications in strategy and management of internal communications within the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), to help the company achieve its objectives.

Key Accountability

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing internal communications content for the intranet, circulars, newsletter, and other channels, to ensure that information and messages are disseminated efficiently, consistently, and accurately.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement via internal programmes, and ensure the Group's corporate culture / vision is shared and instilled internally via various platforms.
  • Provide valueadded consultation to other business units in developing internal communications plans and content.
  • Plan and manage the internal communications budget for the entire year.
  • Actively manage internal communications during crisis, working closely with relevant business units/subsidiary to ensure immediate dissemination of accurate messaging and updates internally.
  • Support Group Communications in other areas related to media and external relations, corporate communications, stakeholder management.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Communications or related field with 5 years' experience in Internal/Corporate Communications or related fields

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent written and proofreading skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of employee dynamics.
  • Meticulous in ensuring consistency and able to identify potential communications mishaps.
