Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for the property's overall accounting and financial management.
  • Responsible to represent the finance department during daily morning briefing.
  • Reconciliation of sales in all revenue on a daily basis. Recording and retention of daily sales for reporting to head office.
  • Responsible for the local tax authority compliance for the Hotel.
  • Responsible to support and liaise with the General Manager, Managing Director and owner in meeting the strategic goal for the organization.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing annual budget, monthly P&L, balance ledger.
  • Responsible for verifying all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulations.
  • Able to prepare and submit management reports in a timely manner and also ensuring delivery deadline.
  • Able to effectively assist implement all accounting policies and procedures.
  • Able to ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard hotel assets.
  • Work closely with all departments in assisting with financial aspects, assisting with the hotel needed.
  • Monitor and improve hotels operations cost, profitability and manage business risks.
  • Oversea internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
  • Establishes and maintain open, collaborative relationships with employee.
  • Any other tasks as and required by the management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of related working experiences
  • Familiar with Computerized accounting system and computer literate
  • Able to multitask, proactive, results oriented and willing to interact with people at all levels.
  • Had been in Management level and able to supervise all Accounts division

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
RM5, RM6,500.00 per month
