Corporate Bank is an integral part of Deutsche Bank's Business.

It is a global provider of risk management solutions, cash management, lending trade finance, trust and agency services as well as securities services.

Securities Services


Corporates and institutions investing globally need to keep pace with a changing regulatory landscape, as well as market infrastructure change and new technological innovations.

They need bespoke solutions that focus on their specific post-trade goals and data that empowers them to improve their efficiency and process.

Financial intermediaries such as global custodians and broker dealers need to focus on achieving their business goals, while ensuring continued regulatory compliance, as well as improving their operational efficiency.

To help them, Securities Services provide custody and clearing, asset servicing, fund services and liquidity services in more than 30 markets around the world.

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to manage key client relationship within Securities Services.

This role involves active interaction with business leaders and our client stakeholders to ensure that operations and services contracted are delivered to the agreed standards.

Your key responsibilities:

This role requires the individual to have:

  • Respond timely and accurately to client inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure new client onboarding activities are conducted with a high degree of client satisfaction.
  • Strengthen and deepen relationships with our clients and partner with business leads to maintain strong focus on client services.
  • Manage assigned clients to grow our relationship while protecting existing revenue streams.
  • Complete due diligence questionnaires from clients when received including coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure questionnaire is completed accurately.
  • Handle Service Review meetings with clients and serve as an escalation point for critical service issues.
  • Perform other duties as required from time to time.

Your skills and experience:

  • A university degree in banking/finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in client service or relationship management role for financial institution, with a minimum 3 years' experience in Securities Services.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationship with clients and internal partners.
  • Good interpersonal skills and is solutionoriented to ensure that excellent services are provided to clients.
  • Ability to balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the bank and recognize an issue and determine when to escalate or handle independently.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
  • Strong sense of ownership and team spirit
