Veterinary Custodian cum Clerk

Responsibilities:

Cleaning:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning animal cage and animal litter box
• Washing, refilling and changing animal food bowl and drinking bowl
• Dusting furniture, surfaces, and equipment
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and partitions
• Disinfecting and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, and other hightraffic areas
• Taking out trash and recycling
• Cleaning carpets
• Cleaning toilets

Inventory and Supplies:

• Conduct inventory checks of disposable items, cleaning supplies, stationery, and common office supplies. Inform your employer about shortages.
• Replenishing supplies like toilet paper, soap dispensers, and paper towels
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and tools
• Reporting any needed repairs or replacements for cleaning supplies or building fixtures

Maintaining cleanliness and clinic upkeep:

• Promptly clear and clean pet waste, especially in the client waiting area and common clinic areas.
• Making sure the clinic is spotless
• Making sure no unpleasant smell especially at client area
• Ensure the clinic is clean and hygienic throughout the day.

Stock keeping and storage upkeep:

• Making sure all the item and stocks in storage area in good condition and keep in an orderly manner
• To assess expired products, to key in a record and inform your superiors
• Making sure all stocks easily assisble and not hidden
• Documentation
• Recording expired items
• Keying in punch card in excel
• Documentation of invoices purchased

Emergency response:
Inform veterinarians immediately about urgent cases.

Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members. Assist colleagues by running errands and providing requested items

Additional duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned by the veterinarian or clinic manager.

Requirements:

SPM
No animal or dust allergies

No fear of animals
