Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual counseling to students on academic challenges, personal concerns, social issues, and career planning.
  • Assist students in developing academic plans, setting goals, and improving study skills.
  • Facilitate workshops and individual sessions to address socialemotional learning, conflict resolution, and coping mechanisms.
  • Work with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources to ensure all students have the support they need.
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track progress.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program.
  • Respond to student crises and emergencies, providing support and referrals as needed.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of student information while following ethical and legal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree/ Degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Commitment to student success and creating a positive school climate.

Salary:
RM1, RM4,918.80 per month
