Scope of Work

Preparation Phase

  • Site verification, produce Job Method Sheet/Job Steps, Material Control Sheet, Manhours, etc. for Heat Exchangers scope as per the worklist.
  • To ensure all materials are ordered and onsite when required.
  • Participates in developing the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), risk assessment and mitigation measures.
  • To carry out JHA on major/critical equipment.
  • Ensure good planning updates to the Area Planner/Project Engineer Heat Exchanger.
  • Jointly prepare with Area Planner/Project Engineer and issue Job Packs to CLIENT for approval.
  • Monitor the turnaround preparation work to ensure completion i.e. Scaffolding lagging, prefabrication, and materials.
  • Identification of spade points as per Equipment Isolation Sheet, rated & and nonrated spades requirements, stud bolts, gaskets, and test rings.
  • To ensure the Breech Lock Heat Exchanger Special Jigs are serviced and transported to the identified area location.

Execution Phase

  • During the execution, ensure the Heat Exchangers and Breech Lock Exchangers activities are executed as per the planned schedule.
  • Coordinate all materials, tools, and equipment and availability to carry out the work.
  • Ensure work is being carried out as per the requirements of the Permit to Work and Job method / Scope of work and good engineering practices.
  • Communicate to the subcontractor the required standards of Quality.
  • Ensure correct materials are supplied to the subcontractor.
  • Report to the Area Planner/Project Engineer Heat Exchanger on problems with work progress to ensure targets are met.
  • Produce JMS, MCS, etc., plan it, and assist with the distribution of defective systems to the Area Planner/Project Engineer Heat Exchanger for additional and emergent works.
  • Be proactive in the Safety Auditing scheme and always monitor compliance with the safe systems of work.
  • Work closely with the Flange Management Team to ensure all the touched joints have already been tightened using the methods for Manual Torque, Hydraulic Bolt Torque, and Tensioning.

Post Turnaround Phase

  • To ensure that the Post TA works have been completed within a set timeframe and daily progress update to the Area Planner/Project Engineer Heat Exchanger.
  • Prepare a report on the findings/recommendations and lessons learned during the turnarounds and submit it to the Area Planner/Project Engineer Heat Exchanger.

Others

  • Follow all company rules and regulations and understand all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provide innovative training and develop highperformance staff.
  • To undertake special tasks whenever required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Attainment:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of handson experience in Petrochemical, Oil, and Gas.
  • Experience in Planning, Preparation, and Execution for Heat Exchangers and Static Mechanical work i.e. Floating Head, Fixed Tube, Kettle Type Exchangers, Breech Lock Exchangers, Air Fin Coolers, etc.
