As a Valet Parking Jockey,

you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional valet parking services to guests. Your primary role involves safely parking and retrieving vehicles, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Handling:

  • Safely drive and park guests' vehicles in designated parking areas.
  • Exercise care and attention to avoid any damage to vehicles.

Customer Service:

  • Greet guests with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Assist guests in and out of their vehicles, providing any necessary help.

Valet Ticket Management:

  • Issue valet tickets to guests upon vehicle dropoff.
  • Ensure accurate matching of tickets to corresponding vehicles.

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with Valet Parking Counter Attendants regarding vehicle locations and customer preferences.
  • Notify the valet counter of any issues or special requests from guests.

Traffic Control:

  • Direct vehicles in and out of the valet parking area safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a smooth flow of traffic within the parking facility.

Security and Safety:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while driving and parking vehicles.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

  • Keep the valet parking area organized and free of debris.
  • Report any maintenance issues with vehicles or equipment to the appropriate personnel.

  • Provide information to the Valet Parking Counter Attendants for transaction processing.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other valet parking staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
  • Assist colleagues during peak periods or as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a valet parking jockey or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Excellent driving skills and familiarity with a variety of vehicle types.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle safety.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including walking and standing for extended periods.
