Responsibilities

  • Media Monitoring
  • Assist in monitoring media coverage and keeping track of relevant news articles and press releases related to the company.


 Content Creation
  • Assist in creating engaging content for various PR materials, such as press releases, media kits and LinkedIn posts. Help proofread and edit content (English and Chinese) to ensure accuracy and consistence.


 Event Coordination
  • Support the coordination and execution of media and nonmedia events such as media interviews and onground activities.
  • Content Strategy develop social media content strategy for the specific target audience to promote the brand and products.
  • Analytics and Reporting able to conduct social media analysis of the content produced and report the performance to the line manager.
  • Writing and Translation contribute to blog writeups and/or translation of Pesan by Qoala from Malay or English to Mandarin.
  • Manage Qoala's social media channels and keep our followers engaged with relevant content.
  • Support the marketing team in daytoday activities and adhoc projects.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends in the insurance and marketing industries and share insights with the team:

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of how social media marketing works will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
  • A bare minimum background understanding of insurance.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Eager to learn social media marketing for a new market and platform.
  • Friendly & passionate personality, able to work in a team effectively and not camera shy.
