Senior Accounts Executive
A public listed construction engineering company in Johor Bahru is looking for a career minded senior accounts executive to be part of their team. You will be key member of their finance team, working closely with the finance manager and Chief financial officer (CFO) of the company.

Main responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Executive role

• Responsible for the full spectrum of finance including timely preparation of financial and management reports as well
as analysis of results.

• Plan and control the company's cash flow, funding, and budget allocation.

• Control and manage end-to-end financial processes, including collections, payments, monthly close activities, and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures are fully compliant with Financial Reporting Standards, and applicable reporting standards.

• Perform business planning and yearly budget.

• Establish effective internal control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, legal, bankers, etc.Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent

• Abilitity to converse in Chinese is highly preferred

• Full set of accounts experience

• Able to work independently and have a good eye for details

• Able to work in Johor Bahru and alternate Saturdays in a month
