ExxonMobil is one of the world's largest publicly traded energy providers and chemical manufacturers. In Malaysia, our operations involve significant oil and gas production and the marketing of chemical products. Our global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur offers high-level information technology and engineering expertise to ExxonMobil's global businesses.
What Role You Will Play in the TeamStarting from day one of your internship, you will apply your knowledge and experience in a real business environment. Expect challenging assignments to showcase your skills. Throughout your internship at ExxonMobil, you will gain valuable work experience, skills, and knowledge beneficial for your future career.
What You Will DoAt ExxonMobil, we prioritize continuous learning and development. As an intern, you will receive on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching from colleagues and supervisors. Key responsibilities include:
- Assignments at varying scales focusing on existing fields
- Integration of geological and geophysical data using advanced techniques
- Understanding production operations and geoscientists' roles in production organizations
- Evaluating opportunities for additional production capture
- Providing a geologic basis for reservoir performance interpretation through various techniques
Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Completed at least 2 years of a 4-year Bachelor's or higher degree in Geology or Geophysics
- Work experience in petroleum geology is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and self-motivation
