Main responsibilities

Deloitte's Audit & Assurance division offers audit, accounting, and regulatory guidance, attest and related services. Utilizing strong audit tools, resources, and methodology, our experts collaborate closely with clients to deliver top-notch services and solutions. We also provide advice to clients on various topics including IPOs, internal controls, International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP, and regulatory adherence.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of audit and risk advisory services and stakeholder requirements to deliver high-quality engagements.
  • Conduct risk assessment procedures to establish a foundation for identifying and evaluating material misstatement risks.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal specialists, comprehend the work scope of experts, supervise their procedures, review their working papers, and grasp their conclusions.
  • Execute high-quality audits by utilizing various tools such as Global Audit Imperatives, Professional Excellence, learning resources, and DA/EMS.
  • Create and manage project plans for conducting high-quality audits. A robust project plan encompasses key activities, milestones, deadlines, and priorities for all engagement team members.
  • Make informed judgments and conclusions to deliver informative and timely outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, ethical standards, independence requirements, and the firm's quality control procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a recognized professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant audit experience in a professional setting.
  • Preferably a member of MIA/MICPA/ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and people management skills, along with a quick learning ability, are necessary.
  • Having audit experience in reputable professional services firms is an added advantage.
