Your responsibilities:
Deloitte's Audit & Assurance division offers audit, accounting, and regulatory guidance, as well as attestation services. Through robust audit tools, resources, and methodology, our experts collaborate closely with clients to provide top-notch services and solutions. We also offer advice to clients on topics such as IPOs, internal controls, IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory adherence.
You will lead and oversee teams to carry out various audit, assurance, and compliance tasks for a diverse client portfolio across different sectors. As a leader, you will lead and support your team members, review their work, and cultivate strong client relationships. Another crucial aspect of your role involves assisting Partners in work planning and change management.

- A comprehensive project plan includes key tasks, milestones, deadlines, and priorities for all team members, including managers, professionals, component auditors, and experts.
- Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, ethical standards, independence requirements, and the firm's quality control processes.
- Conduct risk assessment procedures to identify and evaluate potential material misstatement risks.
- Cultivate productive relationships with internal specialists and comprehend the scope of work conducted by experts and specialists, reviewing work documents.
- Understand Deloitte's and our clients' objectives, aligning our workforce to these goals by establishing clear priorities and directions.
- Optimize outcomes, inspire peak performance from employees, encourage collaboration across sectors and regions.
- Foster high-performing teams by providing challenging and rewarding opportunities, while acknowledging their impactful contributions.
Requirements
- You must hold a recognized professional accounting qualification.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience in a professional setting.
- Preferably be a member of MIA/MICPA/ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Australia or equivalent.
- Demonstrate effective communication and people management skills, along with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Prior audit experience in reputable professional service firms is advantageous.
